What does patellar tendinopathy mean?

Patellar tendinopathy is common in young and old people, often due to chronic injury to the patellar tendon from long-term sports, resulting in pain and limited joint movement. Patellar tendinopathy often leads to pain and pressure below the patella, and the pain is more pronounced when flexing and extending the knee joint, which should be diagnosed by early MRI of the knee joint and early physical examination. Most patients can have good results after conservative treatment.
