Xiangsha Nourishing Stomach Pill is composed of Muxiang, Saren, Atractylodes Macrocephalae, Chenpi, Poria, Semixia, Vinegar Aromaticum, Citrus aurantium, Cardamom, Ginger Houpu, Patchouli, and Glycyrrhiza Uralensis, which has the efficacy of warming the middle and harmonizing the stomach.
It is used for treating stomach pain and plumpness (stomach distension and discomfort) caused by deficiency of stomach yang and dampness and stagnation of qi. Symptoms include vague stomach pain, stuffiness in the epigastrium (discomfort in the stomach and epigastric region), vomiting of acid, noisy (stomach feeling similar to hunger, emptiness with burning) discomfort, insatiable appetite, and tiredness of the limbs.
