What’s wrong with adults squeezing their eyes a lot?

If adults often squeeze their eyes, they can discern what the cause is through their own senses and signs. The most common cause is usually allergies, seasonal allergies or perennial allergies that cause itchy eyes, which can increase blinking and eye rubbing, and this symptom is mainly due to the continuous stimulation of allergens, such as dust or pollen, which can cause itchy eyes and lead to blinking or squeezing of the eyes. In addition, it is more common in the elderly, and the frequent squeezing of the eyes may be caused by inverted eyelashes, which can cause eye discomfort and squeeze the eyes when the eyelashes are stuck to the black eye or cornea. Squeezing of the eyes can also be caused by dryness or fatigue of the eyes, and is more likely to be caused by low tear production or overuse of the eyes. There may also be conjunctival stones, which are raised secretions in the conjunctiva on the inside of the eyelid and irritate the eyeball.
