Dry nose with nasal stools and crusting is mainly seen clinically in rhinitis and sinusitis. Such patients have very dry nasal mucosa due to the particularly poor secretion function of the nasal cavity. Clinically, this condition can be treated as follows. Patients are advised to apply nasal drops of compound menthol for softening the nasal cavity and softening the nasal stool under the guidance of outpatient doctors. Then you can do nasal rinsing with saline twice a day in the morning and evening. The rinsing can flush out the smaller nasal crusts and is very effective in keeping the nasal cavity dry. For larger dry crusts, rinsing may not be a good idea, so patients are advised to go to the ward or outpatient clinic to see a doctor and remove it with an aspirator or septal sinus forceps under the guidance of a nasal endoscope.
