Tiepi Fengdu is a dried product made from fresh strips of authentic Tiepi Dendrobium, and the dosage should be used as prescribed by a doctor and under the supervision of a physician. It has the effects of benefiting the stomach and generating fluids (nourishing the stomach by replenishing fluids in the stomach), nourishing yin and clearing heat (nourishing yin fluids and clearing heat).
Dendrobium ironpierre is sweet in taste, slightly cold in nature, and belongs to the stomach and kidney meridians. It is used for the treatment of vague burning pain in stomach and epigastrium caused by deficiency of stomach yin (insufficient yin fluid in stomach), dry mouth and tongue, dullness (lack of appetite, reduced food intake) and dry vomiting, etc. It is often used together with bei sha shen (northern radix ginseng) and maitong (maitong).
