It is difficult to distinguish laryngitis and laryngeal cancer accurately in terms of symptoms. Laryngitis mainly manifests sore throat and hoarseness, while laryngeal cancer mainly manifests blood in sputum and hoarseness. Laryngitis is an infectious disease of laryngeal tissues, which will show symptoms such as hoarseness, foreign body in the throat and sore throat. The condition can be recovered through treatment with antibiotics and glucocorticoid drugs, such as amoxicillin, cefaclor and other antibiotics; such as dexamethasone, prednisone and other glucocorticoid drugs. Laryngeal cancer is a malignant tumor of the larynx, which mainly damages the laryngeal tissues and triggers symptoms such as hoarseness, foreign body sensation in the larynx, blood in the sputum, and difficulty in breathing. It is mainly treated by surgery and requires combined chemotherapy and radiotherapy when necessary. It should be noted that laryngitis and laryngeal cancer have a lot of similar symptoms, and laryngitis and laryngeal cancer can not be accurately differentiated by symptoms alone, but need to be diagnosed through laryngoscopy, cervical imaging and pathological biopsy, etc. If the patient has any discomfort, it is recommended that he/she should be treated by surgery. If the patient has the corresponding discomfort, it is recommended that the patient should go to the ENT department of regular hospitals to get a clear diagnosis and treatment as soon as possible, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
