What are the causes of high uric acid?

There are external and internal factors that cause high uric acid, therefore, patients must strengthen dietary control and regular checkups to prevent some diseases caused by high uric acid. First, high renal clearance of uric acid is reduced High uric acid is always present in chronic kidney disease, but the relationship between uric acid concentration and blood creatinine and blood urea nitrogen is not clear. As the renal function decreases, the secretion of uric acid per unit glomerulus is increased, but the secretion capacity of renal tubules is basically unchanged, and the reabsorption capacity of renal tubules is also reduced, and the clearance of uric acid outside the kidney is significantly increased. Second, excessive production of high uric acid 1, increased purine metabolism: such as chronic hemolytic anemia, rhabdomyolysis, erythrocytosis, myeloproliferative diseases and chemotherapy or radiotherapy will produce high uric acid. Excessive exercise, status epilepticus, glycogenstoragediseases type III, VII and VII can accelerate the degradation of muscle ATP. Myocardial infarction, smoking, and acute respiratory failure are also associated with accelerated degradation of APT. 2, excessive purine intake: high uric acid content is directly proportional to the purine content within food. 50% of the RNA and 25% of the DNA within the ingested food are excreted as uric acid in the urine. Strictly limiting purine intake can reduce the serum uric acid content to 60umol/L (1.0mg/dL), while the uric acid secretion in the urine drops to 1.2mmol/d (200mg/d). Third, the coexistence of two factors Many patients have both increased uric acid production and decreased uric acid excretion. For example, patients with glucose 6-phosphatase deficiency and hereditary lactose intolerance. Alcohol can also cause uric acid retention through two pathways. Excessive alcohol intake accelerates the degradation of ATP by the liver, increasing uric acid output. Alcohol-induced uric acid also prevents uric acid from being excreted. Alcoholic beverages high in purines, such as beer, are also important factors. There are both external and internal factors that cause high uric acid. Therefore, patients must prevent some diseases caused by high uric acid by improving dietary control and having regular checkups.
