Injection therapy can be used to treat the following chronic pain disorders: the pain department adopts a comprehensive treatment method based on minimally invasive techniques. Minimally invasive techniques have the advantages of easy operation, little damage, high safety, good efficacy and quick recovery after surgery. Minimally invasive surgery blocks the nerve transmission of pain sensation, which can solve the problem at the root. For example, nerve block technique is used to eliminate pain by blocking nociceptive transmission function with drugs or physical methods at nerve trunk and plexus; radiofrequency therapy selectively destroys or regulates nociceptive nerve fibers while preserving motor function; ozone injection also has good therapeutic effect in pain clinic. ozone has obvious anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, which is the basis of ozone treatment for soft tissue pain. Ozone has an oxidizing effect on proteoglycans and nucleus pulposus cells in the intervertebral disc. After ozone injection into the disc, it reduces the osmotic pressure of the nucleus pulposus and loses water, resulting in a decrease in the volume of the intervertebral disc. This reduces the pressure on the nerve roots. It acts as a treatment for herniated discs and analgesia. The pain department of our hospital mainly carries out block therapy and minimally invasive treatment. Block therapy is to inject local anesthetics and glucocorticoids into the painful area to achieve the purpose of anti-inflammation and analgesia, and some patients can maintain their pain for 10 or even 20 years after receiving only one block therapy. Some patients with chronic pain can be completely cured after “injection therapy” treatment. Injection therapy and minimally invasive treatment are the “two major treasures” of the pain department.
