What is the difference between an alveolus and a pulmonary nodule?

The difference between pulmonary bullae and pulmonary nodules lies in the cause of symptoms, their nature, and complications. 1. Symptom causes: most of the pulmonary maculopapulars are secondary to underlying lung diseases, especially small airway diseases. Air enters the alveoli and is not easily discharged, the pressure in the alveolar cavity rises, and the alveoli fuse with each other to form large air-containing saccular cavities. Lung nodules are mostly caused by malignant lesions, benign tumors or infections in the lungs. 2. Nature: pulmonary macroglossia belongs to the air sac disease in the lung tissue. Lung nodule is an imaging manifestation of a solid or sub-solid lesion that is classified as round, less than or equal to 3cm in diameter, with clear borders, and surrounded by lung tissue. 3. Complications: Pulmonary nodules may cause complications such as spontaneous pneumothorax as well as lung infections. Lung nodules can be benign or malignant. More than 90% of lung nodules are benign and can be caused by fungal infections, tuberculosis infections, benign and malignant tumors, chronic inflammation, autoimmune diseases, and pulmonary vascular abnormalities. There are other differences between pulmonary pustules and pulmonary nodules. If there is any discomfort, it is recommended that the patient go to the hospital in time to find out the cause of the disease and treat it actively.
