Malignant Cold (fear of cold) is mainly seen at the beginning of exogenous diseases, and should be treated with Gui Zhi, Asahuang and Half of Each Soup and other prescriptions. Malignant cold is a symptom of traditional Chinese medicine, which means that the patient is afraid of being cold, and no matter whether he or she adds more clothes or warms himself or herself near a fire, he or she still feels obviously cold and cannot be relieved. The symptom of bad cold is often an important indicator for identifying external symptomatic evidence (mainly manifested as respiratory symptoms after feeling external evils). Malignant cold is often accompanied by fever, headache, nasal congestion and runny nose, thin tongue coating and floating pulse. The principle of treatment for malignant cold is pungent warmth and sweating, and Gui Zhi and Ma Huang each half of the soup can be used. It should not be used if there are signs of wind-heat, or if there is a deficiency of yin and fire (deficiency of yin and essence in the body and hyperactivity of deficiency fire). Adverse effects are unknown. Contraindications are unknown. If medication is needed, it is recommended that it be used under the guidance of a Chinese medicine practitioner, as unauthorized use of medication may result in adverse effects.
