Hypertensive patients are required to avoid high salt, high fat, high sugar food intake.
1. High-salt diet: High-salt foods such as salted vegetables, shrimp, soy sauce, salted duck eggs, etc., which contain sodium salt components, excessive sodium salt intake will increase vascular resistance, thereby increasing blood pressure, so patients with hypertension need to strictly control the intake of salt. According to the dietary guidelines for Chinese residents, adults should consume no more than 5g of salt per day.
2. High-fat food: Too much high-fat food such as fatty meat, butter, fried chicken, animal liver, etc., will cause the risk of hyperlipidemia, which is also one of the common causes of hypertension, so hypertensive patients need to control the intake of high-fat food.
3. High-sugar food: If you consume too much food with high sugar content, such as bread, cookies, chocolate, etc., the glucose decomposition in the body will be converted into fat, which will easily cause the elevation of blood lipid and aggravate the burden of hypertension. Therefore, hypertensive patients should eat less food with high sugar content.
If the blood pressure continues to rise, you should go to the hospital in time.
