Can hypospadias be seen at the grand rounds?

Hypospadias cannot be seen through macrosomia.
Hypospadias is a congenital anomaly, but not a hereditary condition. Hypospadias is primarily a condition in which a baby boy is born with an abnormal opening of the urethra. The child’s testicles and penis can be detected during a pregnancy test with a gross malformation. Hypospadias can only be observed after birth.
Hypospadias can be categorized into four types: penile head, penile, scrotal and perineal. Due to hypospadias, it is not possible to urinate normally while standing. Therefore, when hypospadias is detected, prompt surgical treatment is needed to prevent physical and psychological damage to the child.
If hypospadias is diagnosed, early and standardized treatment is recommended to minimize the adverse effects of the disease.
