Can Hepatitis C Infection Cure Itself?

A small percentage of people infected with hepatitis C are able to heal themselves. Hepatitis C is a common infectious disease that is caused by inflammatory damage to liver cells due to hepatitis C virus infection. Some people who recover from hepatitis C virus infection on their own do so because they have a strong autoimmune system and are infected with a relatively small amount of the virus. Most people infected with hepatitis C virus may develop chronic infection or even chronic hepatitis due to large viral load and weak immune function, or even further development of cirrhosis or liver cancer. Antiviral therapy is needed to clear the virus. If infected with hepatitis B virus, it is recommended to go to regular hospitals in time to clarify the cause of the disease and strictly follow the doctor’s instructions for symptomatic treatment. Avoid drinking alcohol and taking drugs that damage the liver in daily life.
