Is the root cause of gout due to the spleen or the kidneys?

Gout belongs to the “paralytic syndrome” in Chinese medicine. Among gout patients, according to the identification, dampness-heat, phlegm, phlegm stasis are most common in the solid syndrome, while deficiency is mainly due to deficiency of the liver, kidney, spleen and kidneys. As the causes of gout are different, it is not possible to determine whether the root cause of gout is due to the spleen or the kidneys without the diagnosis of a professional Chinese medicine practitioner. If gout is diagnosed, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital for treatment.
