What to eat and drink in the days leading up to the glucose test

Glucose tolerance is a glucose tolerance test. 3 days before the glucose tolerance test, you should not eat less than 150 grams of carbohydrates (i.e. rice, pasta, etc.) per day. Fasting after 12:00 p.m. on the night before the glucose tolerance test is usually required for 8 to 10 hours before the test, so it is recommended to arrange the meal time in advance. In addition to dietary precautions, it is recommended to stop using medications that may affect the test results, such as birth control pills, diuretics or phenytoin sodium, etc., for 3 to 7 days before the glucose tolerance test, if your condition permits. Before the glucose tolerance test, it is recommended to strictly follow the doctor’s instructions for preparation, so as not to affect the accuracy of the test results.
