If the lungs are found to be multiple nodules and solitary nodules, both are benign lesions, such as tuberculous nodules caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection, which are inflammatory pseudotumors, or bacterial lung infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus, which cause inflammatory nodules, multiple pulmonary nodules are more severe and inflammation is more pronounced. If the solitary nodules in these two lung manifestations are malignant lesions, such as bronchopulmonary carcinoma, and the multiple pulmonary nodules are benign lesions, such as teratoma and malignant tumor, the solitary pulmonary nodules are more serious because the malignant tumor can easily endanger the patient’s life.
