Xiangsha Liu Jun Wan and Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan have no contraindications and can be taken together.
1. The efficacy of Xiangsha Liu Jun Wan is to harmonize the stomach and benefit the qi and strengthen the spleen. It can be used to treat the symptoms of spleen deficiency and qi stagnation such as fullness in the stomach and epigastric region, indigestion, and loose stools. Its composition includes the Chinese medicines of Mucuna pruriens, Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Poria and so on. The adverse effects of this drug are not clear, and it is contraindicated in pregnant women.
2. Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan is effective in nourishing Yin and reducing fire. It can be used to treat hot flashes and night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep and stopping after waking up), tinnitus and seminal emission, dry mouth and sore throat, and other symptoms of yin deficiency and fire exuberance. Its composition includes Zhi Mu, Phellodendron Bark, Chinese yam, Poria and other traditional Chinese medicines. Adverse effects and contraindications of this drug are not known.
