The main effect of the three needles of qi and blood is to warm and tonify qi and blood, help qi and blood; the main function is to treat headache, tinnitus, stroke and other diseases caused by qi and blood imbalance. The three needles of qi and blood are the core of Shu’s Acupuncture. The three needles referred to are the first needle on the back of the hand where the first and second metacarpal bones are combined; the second needle on the second metacarpal bone which is one inch away from the first needle; and the third needle which is the part that forms an equilateral triangle with the first two needles, and the three needles are used for the vertical needle method. After acupuncture, the whole body can have a warm reaction, which can warm the qi and blood and help the qi and blood, and can be used for qi and blood disorders caused by stagnation of qi and blood, such as headache, insomnia, and after-effects of stroke.
