If a patient has a fleshy lump in the armpit, there are several possible cases: First, axillary lymph nodes: the most common cause is enlarged axillary lymph nodes caused by breast hyperplasia, mostly reactive lymphadenitis caused by impaired axillary lymph node reflux, which is mainly treated symptomatically for the primary disease, cystic hyperplasia of the breast. Secondly, benign surface masses: including lipomas or sebaceous cysts, which usually require ultrasound examination for a clear diagnosis, and when diagnosed as sebaceous cysts or lipomas, the only way to cure them is usually through surgical removal. Thirdly, parametrial breast: it is a kind of developmental deformity, which usually requires further ultrasound examination to make a clear diagnosis. Currently, the only treatment for parametrial breast is complete removal through local anesthesia surgery.
