Liver is one of the common metastatic sites of gastric cancer. With advanced gastric cancer, the prognosis is poor, and surgery, intervention, chemotherapy and targeted therapy can be chosen according to the situation. When cardia cancer metastasizes to liver, jaundice, ascites, progressive worsening weight loss, anemia, hypoproteinemia and other symptoms can be clinically seen. Its treatment plan needs to be judged according to the condition: 1. If the metastatic lesion is located in a small lobe of the liver or an isolated lesion with small diameter, and the general condition is good enough to tolerate surgery, surgical resection of the lesion can be chosen, with postoperative adjuvant drug treatment. 2. If the metastatic foci are large in size or number, which makes surgery more difficult, radiofrequency ablation or hepatic artery chemoembolization can be chosen. If it is difficult to tolerate radiofrequency ablation or hepatic artery chemoembolization, patients can choose western medicine chemotherapy or traditional Chinese medicine adjuvant chemotherapy to control tumor growth and prolong the survival period according to the needs of their condition. 3. If patients have severe systemic symptoms, poor general condition, multiple metastases, and difficult to tolerate surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, they can choose symptomatic treatment such as nutritional support and pain relief to alleviate symptoms and improve quality of life. However, the prognosis is generally poor. In conclusion, patients with cardia cancer combined with liver metastasis have poor prognosis. It is suggested that patients should go to regular hospitals to evaluate their conditions and follow the doctor’s instructions to cooperate with the treatment, so as to control the progression of the disease and improve the prognosis of the patients.
