The effects and contraindications of amoxicillin

Amoxicillin is a class of penicillin antibiotics, which has a relatively good bactericidal effect and therapeutic effect especially on gram-positive bacteria. Amoxicillin is advocated especially for some patients who are alcoholic, have drunk alcohol, have urinary tract infections or have had surgery and cannot use cephalosporin. Also amoxicillin can be recommended for pregnant women in the first 5 months of pregnancy. However, this type of drug, amoxicillin, is contraindicated in such patients who are allergic to penicillin or cephalosporin.
