What’s a grade 4 tumor?

Tumor grade 4 usually refers to the undifferentiated grade in the pathological grading of tumors. Grade 4 has the lowest degree of differentiation, the highest grading, and the greatest degree of malignancy.
The pathological grading of tumors is based on the degree of differentiation of the tumor, which is usually divided into grade 1 (highly differentiated grade), grade 2 (moderately differentiated grade), grade 3 (low differentiated grade), and grade 4 (undifferentiated grade). Tumor grade 4 is the most severe, the most malignant, and progresses at an extremely rapid rate.
Once the tumor is detected, patients should seek medical treatment as soon as possible in order to clarify the nature of the tumor as soon as possible, and try to adopt radical surgical treatment in the early stage, and if malignant, combined with postoperative radiotherapy should be used. If the chance of surgery is lost, radiotherapy should be used as the main comprehensive treatment.
