Is there a needle for leukemia?

Currently, there are no specific drugs for leukemia, and chemotherapy, radiotherapy or stem cell transplantation should be considered under the guidance of doctors. Leukemia is a malignant disease of the hematopoietic system, for which there is no specific treatment at present. According to the degree of urgency of the disease, leukemia can be divided into acute leukemia and chronic leukemia, and their treatments are also different. 1. Acute leukemia: acute myeloid leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia are common types. Acute leukemia usually requires induction chemotherapy. Levodendrosteridase, Vincristine, and adrenocorticotropic hormone are the commonly used chemical drugs. Consolidation and re-induction therapy is then given depending on the condition. Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is also available, and chemotherapy is required before transplantation. 2. Chronic leukemia: It can also be classified as chronic granulocytic leukemia, which can be treated with hydroxyurea for chemotherapy; or follow the medical advice to use imatinib. In addition, radiation therapy may also be given. Chronic lymphocytic leukemia can be treated with nitrogen mustard phenylbutyrate as prescribed, or in combination with prednisone. Currently, some new targeted therapeutic drugs are used in leukemia treatment, such as Gitolizumab and Midostaurin. Leukemia needs regular treatment, don’t believe in prescription, drugs need to follow the doctor’s advice and reasonable application.
