There is no best formula for women taking Huang Jing. The formula for taking Huang Jing is used for treating deficiency of lung qi and yin with saxifrage, maitake, almonds, etc., for treating deficiency of spleen and stomach qi and yin with astragalus, pueraria lobata, etc., and for treating deficiency of kidney essence with chasteberry, mojirushi, etc.
Huang Jing is effective in moistening the lungs, strengthening the spleen, benefiting the kidneys, nourishing yin and tonifying qi. It is used in treating deficiency of spleen and stomach qi, deficiency of stomach yin (insufficient yin fluid in the stomach), internal heat and thirst (internal heat accompanied by symptoms such as excessive eating, drinking and urination), dryness of mouth and food, coughing in the lungs, deficiency of essence and blood, and premature whitening of beard and hair. It should be noted that Huang Jing is forbidden to be taken by those who have phlegm-dampness and fullness (stomach distension and discomfort), or those who have cold and diarrhea.
1. Lung qi and yin deficiency: This product can nourish yin and moisten the lungs, tonifying lung qi. It can be used alone or together with Radix Panax Quinquefolii, Ophiopogon, Bitter Almonds, etc. It is suitable for those who have cough for a long time, or have a prolonged cough due to fatigue, and have a deficiency of both qi and yin.
2. Spleen and stomach qi and yin deficiency: this product can replenish spleen qi and nourish stomach yin. It is suitable for thirst caused by deficiency of qi and yin, internal heat and injury of fluid, with symptoms such as lack of energy, dry mouth, easy to drink, easy to starve, emaciation, etc. It is often used together with red ginseng, astragalus, and Pueraria lobata, such as Ginseng Essence Thirst-Quenching Pill.
3. Kidney essence deficiency: this product can replenish kidney essence, strengthen waist and knees, and black hair. If it is used to treat kidney deficiency and lumbago, it can be cooked with black beans. For treating deficiency of liver and kidney, deficiency of essence and blood, such as soreness and weakness of waist and knees, insomnia, dreaminess, tinnitus and forgetfulness, hair loss, and early whitening of hair, this product can be combined with Prepared Polygonum multiflorum, Chasteberry, and Murraya, such as Essence and Coconut Granules.
