What’s wrong with asymmetrical clavicle protruding from one side?

Asymmetrical protrusion of the clavicle on one side may be due to the following reasons: 1. It may be caused by excessive pressure. If some patients, especially those who are growing, lie excessively to one side for a long time, it can cause excessive pressure on this side of the clavicle and subsequently make it excessively curved. The clavicle may appear to be asymmetrical in length on both sides, and the clavicle on this side has a more pronounced protrusion. 2. It may be caused by an injury to the clavicle. In infants and children it is most common for this side of the clavicle to be damaged during birth, resulting in asymmetry. In adult patients, the clavicle is often fractured due to traumatic factors, resulting in a bony deformity. 3. It may be caused by a lesion of the neck or shoulder, such as a sloping neck or scoliosis, which may cause a deformity of the clavicle, shoulder joint, thorax, etc.
