Ulcer self-healing is a relatively complex physiological healing process, usually by tissue necrosis, inflammatory exudation, granulation formation and wound epithelialization migration, it is affected by many intrinsic and extrinsic factors, common influencing factors are the following. Older age has a relatively slower healing ability; whether the wound is infected or not, which directly affects the course of the wound; the nutritional status of the whole body, including whether or not it will affect whether or not the wound receives adequate nutrition; and whether or not it is taking growth-inhibiting medications itself, such as glucocorticosteroids or immunosuppressive medications. All of these can affect the healing of the wound.
