There is no authoritative document on the three things that Blood Fever is most afraid of, but the Chinese herbs that can treat Blood Fever include Sheng Di Huang and Xuan Shen, etc. It is recommended to choose the medicine under the guidance of a doctor. The main clinical manifestations of blood heat are body heat, thirst, mottled rash, irritability, talking nonsense, vomiting blood, nosebleed, blood in stool, vaginal bleeding and many other bleeding symptoms. 1. Sheng Di Huang (生地黄)：It has the efficacy of clearing heat and cooling blood (relieving blood heat by clearing heat), nourishing yin and generating body fluid. It can be used in treating heat entering the camp and blood (the degree of invasion of heat into the body is deep and the symptoms are more serious), tongue-redness and thirst, epistaxis (vomiting of blood, nosebleed), yin deficiency and internal heat, bone vapor and laborious heat, thirst due to injury of body fluid, thirst due to internal heat (internal heat accompanied by symptoms such as eating more, drinking more and urinating more), and constipation due to dryness of intestine and constipation. 2. Radix Panax Ginseng: It has the effects of clearing heat and cooling blood, cathartic fire and detoxification (removing fire and poison from the body), and nourishing yin. It can be used for the treatment of warm evils entering the camp, internal trapping in the pericardium, warm poisonous spots (warm-heat poisonous evils invading the body resulting in spots and plaques on the skin), heat disease injuring the yin, constipation due to injury of the body fluids, bone vaporization and labor coughing, redness of the eyes and sore throat, scrofula (mainly refers to tuberculosis of the lymph nodes in the neck), diphtheria, carbuncle, swelling, sores and poisons. Xuan Shen should not be taken by people with dampness in the spleen and stomach, or with loose stools in spleen deficiency. Xuan Shen should not be used together with Veratrum.
