The manifestations of psychomotor depression are one is mental, that is, emotional and affective, and the other is motor and somatic. The mental and emotional aspects often manifest as moping, depression, frequent dullness, passivity, emotional indifference, withdrawal, or timidity. The motor aspect is mainly manifested by very slow thinking, little or intermittent speech. In addition, the patient’s attention is often inattentive, slow to respond, and slow to walk; there is also a decline in learning, work efficiency, and often reluctance to move and go out to contact others; in severe cases, it can reach a state of miosis, that is, not eating, not drinking, not moving, and not even blinking.
