What’s wrong with the lymph node pain?

A little pain in the lymph nodes is also a pathological manifestation of reactive hyperplasia of the lymph nodes. In many cases, the pain is secondary to trauma or injury to local muscles and soft tissues, and the patient’s symptoms can gradually improve with local physical therapy. In addition, malignant tumors are prone to lymphatic metastasis, which is commonly manifested as enlargement of superficial lymph nodes, accompanied by painful symptoms, and will gradually worsen, even with weight change. If necessary, local lymph node biopsy is required. If the condition allows, adjuvant intravenous chemotherapy and radiation therapy can be used to control the development of tumor and, to a certain extent, to relieve the patient’s local pain and discomfort.
