The difference between rheumatoid arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis

The concept of rheumatoid must be distinguished from rheumatism. Until the mid-19th century, the two were often confused. With the development of medical technology, rheumatoid arthritis has become more clearly understood. Morning stiffness is the first symptom of rheumatoid arthritis. Patients may find that their joints are inflexible in the morning and that morning stiffness decreases or disappears after they get up and move around. Patients will also experience joint swelling and pain, and may also experience weakness, fatigue, and fever. Rheumatoid arthritis functional activity classification: Grade I: complete joint function, general activity without obstacles. Grade II: There is joint discomfort or impairment, but still able to complete general activities. Grade Ⅲ: functional activities are significantly limited, but most of life can be self-care. Grade IV: unable to take care of themselves or bedridden. The difference between rheumatoid arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis: 1, the onset of the situation is different: rheumatoid arthritis is common at the age of 9-17 years old, the proportion of men and women is equal. Rheumatoid arthritis is more common in middle-aged women. 2, the cause is different: rheumatoid arthritis is caused by streptococcal infection, while rheumatoid arthritis is a variety of causes of chronic synovial 3, the symptoms are different: rheumatoid arthritis commonly involves large joints (knee, elbow, etc.), does not cause deformity of the joints. There are also symptoms of annular erythema, chorea, and cardiac inflammation. Rheumatoid arthritis tends to invade small joints (especially metacarpophalangeal joints, proximal interphalangeal joints, and wrist joints), but also other large and small joints, often causing deformities of the joints in advanced stages. May also appear rheumatoid nodules and heart, lung, kidney, peripheral nerve and eye visceral lesions. 4, laboratory tests are different: rheumatoid arthritis “anti-O” high; rheumatoid arthritis often “rheumatoid factor” high, “CCP”, ” AKA” will appear positive. 5, the treatment is different: rheumatoid arthritis to eliminate streptococcal infection, while for joint pain, heart inflammation and other related treatment. Rheumatoid arthritis is aimed at preventing joint destruction, protecting joint function, and maximizing the patient’s quality of life. Early application of slow-acting anti-rheumatic drugs is required. During the period of joint pain and swelling, external herbs are applied to control pain and other symptoms. Relevant treatment is carried out when internal complications appear. 6, the prognosis is different: rheumatoid arthritis treatment after the joint without deformation remains. Rheumatoid arthritis can develop joint deformities in advanced stages. Caution: Whether due to trauma or unknown causes, pain and stiffness develop rapidly and perhaps you are experiencing an attack of rheumatoid arthritis. You may have osteoarthritis or other joint pathology if you feel pain and stiffness in your arms, legs, or back after a brief period of sitting or standing or a night’s sleep. In children, pain or rash in the arm pits, knees, wrists, or ankles, or fluctuating fever, poor appetite, weight loss, or possibly juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.
