Multiple beaded hypoechoic lymph nodes of different sizes, some of which are full, are seen on the left side of the neck, which should be caused by cervical lymph node enlargement. Infection, cervical lymphatic tuberculosis, thyroid tumor, lymphoma and other diseases are considered. 1. Infection: the neck is a location with more lymph nodes, if ultrasound examination reveals bead-like hypoechoic lymph nodes of varying sizes in the neck, it suggests that the patient’s left lymph node is abnormal, and the first consideration is that it is caused by inflammation of the local lymph nodes, and the patient should follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment after diagnosis. 2. Tuberculosis of cervical lymph nodes: this may also occur when tuberculosis mycobacteria invade the cervical lymph nodes. A positive tuberculin test can be seen on examination. Clinically, isoniazid, rifampicin, ethambutol and other drugs can be used in combination. 3. Malignant tumor: all types of thyroid malignant tumors can be metastasized through lymphatic metastasis, which occurs when the tumor metastasizes to the surrounding lymph nodes. These lymph nodes are generally characterized by hard texture, no tenderness and poor mobility. Primary malignant tumors in other parts of the body, such as laryngeal cancer, nasopharyngeal cancer, lung cancer, etc., may also appear here through lymphatic metastasis, and such lymph nodes appear during examination. 4. Lymphoma: patients with lymphoma may also find bead-like hypoechoic changes during examination. When bead-like hypoechoic changes are found in the neck, patients should do further examination under the guidance of doctors.
