The three lateral Yang meridians are, from front to back, the Foot Yangming Stomach Meridian, the Foot Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian, and the Foot Sun Bladder Meridian, while the three medial Yin meridians are, from front to back, the Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian, the Foot Convulsive Liver Meridian, and the Foot Shaoyin Kidney Meridian. A special case is that the Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian crosses the Foot Syncopal Liver Meridian 8 inches above the inner ankle, which means that below 8 inches above the inner ankle, the Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian is at the back and the Foot Syncopal Liver Meridian is at the front.
