How to treat a scorpion sting

If there is a case of being stung by scorpion, it is necessary to take appropriate treatment according to the condition of the affected area, including general treatment, medication and so on.
1. For patients stung by scorpions, they need to observe and pay attention to the local symptoms immediately. If the skin is only gently scratched, it is recommended that the affected area be cleaned with water, soap and other items.
2. If the stinger is left locally, you need to follow the doctor’s instructions to pull out the stinger, and then use iodophor, alcohol and other items to disinfect. If there is localized redness, swelling and tingling, topical glucocorticoid drugs such as dexamethasone and mometasone furoate are also needed to fight inflammation and allergies. If the localized pain is severe, it is recommended to take oral ibuprofen, aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs as prescribed by the doctor to help relieve pain.
For patients stung by scorpions, it is recommended to go to regular hospitals and cooperate with doctors for standardized treatment. The medication should follow the doctor’s instructions.
