Six months after lung cancer surgery, there are ground glass nodules again, is it metastasized?

If there are ground-glass nodules again after half a year’s review after lung cancer surgery, it is not necessarily metastasis, and should be judged according to the shape, density and boundary of the nodules.
If the density of the nodule is consistent, the edge is clear and smooth, and the nodule is small, it may be a newly-emerged benign nodule; if the density of the nodule is uneven, the edge is blurred, there are lobes or burrs, and the morphology is irregular, it may be a malignant nodule; in addition, it should also be compared with the preoperative pathology slides, and observe whether there are morphology and density changes, etc, so as to comprehensively evaluate the nature of the nodule.
If the possibility of benign nodules is high, regular follow-up observation should be made and medical advice should be followed. If new malignant nodules or metastases are present, timely pathological diagnosis should be made and appropriate treatment measures should be taken.
