What to know about “fatherhood” in pregnancy assistance

Couples undergoing assisted conception treatment always ask what they should take into account in their daily lives. So today we will introduce you to the precautions that the male partner should take in the assisted conception treatment. The spermatogenesis process takes 3 months. Therefore, the quality of semen on the day of egg collection is related to the physical condition of the man before March. The following points to note can help your sperm to be in the best condition: 1. A fever of 38.3°C during the first 3 months of the IVF or IUI treatment cycle can affect the quality of sperm. Sperm count and viability can show normal, but no abnormal fertilization or embryo development. If you are sick during or before IVF treatment, please seek medical attention promptly and do not let it develop to cause high body temperature. 2. Keep your smoking and alcohol consumption to a minimum and do not take any stimulants during IVF treatment. 3.Do not take hot tubs, hot springs and saunas for 3 months before IVF treatment. 4. Do not start a new endurance exercise program within 3 months before IVF treatment; physical activity should be at a range that you feel moderate and more acceptable. 5. Do not wear tight pants and underwear during the 3 months prior to IVF treatment. 6.Sperm needs to be retrieved on the day of egg retrieval. Sperm should not be released for 2-3 days before retrieval, but not more than 5 days at most. 7. Do not touch chemicals, such as hair dyes, paints, decoration materials, radiation and toxic substances.
