Endometrial cancer is a group of epithelial malignant tumors occurring in the endometrium, with adenocarcinoma originating from endometrial glands being the most common. Endometrial cancer is one of the three major malignant tumors of female reproductive tract, with an average age of onset of 60 years old, and about 90% of patients present with symptoms of vaginal bleeding or vaginal discharge. 1. Vaginal bleeding: it mainly manifests as postmenopausal vaginal bleeding, and the amount is usually not much. Those who are not yet menopausal may show increased menstrual flow, prolonged menstrual period or menstrual disorders. 2.Vaginal discharge: mostly bloody fluid or plasma discharge, combined with infection, there is pus and blood discharge, foul odor, because of abnormal vaginal discharge of about 25% of the patients. Lower abdominal pain and others: if the tumor involves the endocervical os, it may cause accumulation of pus in the uterine cavity, and there will be distension and cramp-like pain in the lower abdomen. If the tumor infiltrates the peripheral tissues of uterus or presses the nerves, it may cause pain in lower abdomen and lumbosacral area. Corresponding symptoms such as anemia, emaciation and cachexia may appear in advanced stage. Therefore, the common symptoms of endometrial cancer are abnormal vaginal bleeding, bloody discharge with malodorous smell when combined with infection, accompanied by lower abdominal pain, and lower abdominal and lumbosacral pain when the tumor infiltrates the peripheral tissues of the uterus or presses the nerves.
