There is no such thing as a special medicine for liver and kidney deficiency. Commonly used medicines include Erzhi Pills and Qi Ju Di Huang Wan.
1. Erzhi Pill: It has the function of tonifying the liver and kidney, nourishing Yin and stopping bleeding. It is used to treat symptoms such as lumbar and knee pain caused by yin deficiency of the liver and kidney. Adverse reactions and contraindications are not clear. Patients with dizziness and tinnitus caused by inflammation of liver fire, diarrhea caused by deficiency of spleen and stomach, and excessive menstruation caused by internal heat are advised to use it with caution.
2. Qi Ju Di Huang Wan: nourishing the kidney and tonifying the liver. It is used to treat symptoms such as shyness and fear of light, dizziness, tinnitus, blurred vision and tears in the wind caused by yin deficiency of the liver and kidney. Adverse reactions are not clear. It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this drug. Caution should be exercised in patients with fever and allergies.
