The leucorrhoea, which is a mixture of secretions from the vaginal mucosa, cervical canal and endometrial glands, is formed in relation to the action of estrogen. The normal secretion has no fishy odor, is white and thin paste or egg white, and the amount is moderate. When the secretion increases before menstruation or during pregnancy, it is physiological leucorrhea. Therefore, abnormal discharge should be taken seriously and a medical consultation is needed to clarify the cause. For example, increased vaginal discharge with severe itching, pain and odor is mostly related to inflammation of the vagina. If blood-like leucorrhea or watery leucorrhea appears, it may be related to submucosal myoma or cervical erosion, but it may also appear when genital tumors occur.
