Fever does not necessarily require injections. If the fever is caused by a low-grade fever or a cold, physical cooling measures are usually taken, and if the underlying disease or fever is high, targeted treatment is taken. If the fever is caused by colds and flu, especially low fever below 38.5℃, physical cooling measures are generally taken, such as the use of cold towels and hot compresses. Effective control of the rise in body temperature and symptomatic relief of symptoms can be achieved without the need for immediate injection. If the fever is caused by an underlying disease such as pneumonia, or if it is above 38.5℃, then therapeutic measures are needed. Infectious diseases need to be controlled with antibiotics such as penicillin after blood tests and pathology tests to confirm the type of infection; high fever caused by colds need to be treated with acetaminophen and other antipyretic treatments. Therefore, the need for injections cannot be generalized, and it is recommended to seek medical attention in a timely manner, at the discretion of the doctor.
