Nosebleeds can be caused by dry rhinitis, deviated nasal septum, nasal capillary hemangioma and other reasons.
1. Dry rhinitis: The dry environment and high temperature may trigger dry rhinitis, in which the nasal mucosa becomes dry and the fragility of the mucosal capillaries increases. This may lead to nosebleed after being stimulated by nose blowing, nose rubbing and sneezing.
2. Deviated nasal septum: It means that the nasal septum is morphologically deviated or partially raised to one or both sides. The mucous membrane in the raised part is more tense and thin, plus the soft tissue in front of the nasal septum is rich in blood supply, so it is easy to bleed after sneezing and kneading.
3. Nasal capillary hemangioma: it is a malformation tumor formed by proliferation of nasal vascular endothelial cells and expansion of capillaries, and it grows on the surface of mucous membrane at the front of nasal cavity. As the tumor is more prominent here, friction and pressure will easily lead to rupture and bleeding.
Nosebleeds can also be caused by blood disorders and other reasons. If the bleeding is frequent or large, it is recommended to go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment.
