Is schizophrenia the same as a split personality?

Schizophrenia and split personality are not the same. Schizophrenia generally refers to schizophrenia, while split personality generally refers to split personality disorder. Patients with schizophrenia tend to have hallucinations, delusions, disorganized speech and behavior, and symptoms of emotional indifference, poor thinking, and reduced volition. Patients with schizophrenic personality disorder do not communicate with others, do not have the appropriate emotional expressions or reactions, and are always alone, making people feel strange. Patients with schizophrenia can accomplish work, study, and life events during the stabilization and recovery periods. A high percentage of people with schizoid personality disorder develop schizophrenia, and the chances of developing schizophrenia are greater than in the general population.
