What causes women’s hands to shake

Hand tremors in women can have a variety of causes; it can be stress, it can be a thyroid disorder, and in some cases there are other neurological problems. If a girl experiences significant hand tremors, along with protruding eyes, menstrual disorders, increased appetite, and weight loss, it is often indicative of a hyperthyroidism problem. An ultrasound of the thyroid gland and a blood test of the thyroid function can be done to confirm the diagnosis. If a woman’s nervous system is not stable, she is also prone to hand tremors, except for thyroid disorders. Some neurological disorders are similar, especially Parkinson’s disease, in which case specialized tests are needed to identify the cause of the hand tremor.
