My child is almost 1 year old now, but I have noticed that he has very little voluntary movement. Other children have started to walk, but my child is not interested in toys and has trouble sleeping at night. I don’t know what’s wrong with my child, could it be dementia? What is wrong with my child? Is it possible to cure him? The child’s symptoms are similar to those of pediatric cerebral palsy, but we are not sure. However, we can rule out that the child is suffering from pediatric dementia. We have tested the child’s intelligence and there is no problem. The final decision will depend on the MRI of the child’s brain and the cause of the child’s illness. First of all, I would like to tell you what is pediatric dementia. Pediatric dementia is also known as cretinism. It is caused by congenital deficiencies or by improper maintenance in later life. The main manifestation of pediatric dementia is mental retardation. This disease is equivalent to the Western medical term mental retardation. The main diagnostic bases are: 1. There is a family history of hereditary disease, or a history of maternal infection, radiation exposure, alcoholism or drugs harmful to the fetus during pregnancy. 2. The child has a history of cranial injury, intracranial hemorrhage, and failure to cry at birth during delivery. 3.After birth, the child has suffered from cranial diseases (such as spring temperature, epilepsy, etc.), a history of cranial trauma, a history of shock, or a history of poisoning by drugs and certain substances. The child was born as a low weight baby, the rest is quite normal. In addition, there were no factors of dementia in the family, and both my father and I were physically normal during the prenatal medical examination. Therefore, we could determine that the child’s symptoms did not belong to pediatric dementia. However, from the MRI projection of the child’s brain, I can see that there is a defect in the central part of the child’s brain, and it is likely that the child was born with a brain injury or the child was born with congenital brain dysplasia. Then, from the child’s current symptoms, it can be determined that the child has limb spastic cerebral palsy. Is there any good treatment for this condition? The child’s current symptoms are mainly due to brain damage. The child’s gaze is dull, which may belong to the problem of intra-ocular strabismus or the child is almost intellectually. The difficulty in sleeping is mainly due to the problem of the child’s low motor skill muscles, which causes the child to suffer abnormally and therefore cannot fall asleep. Treatment: We can mainly use a common carotid artery episiotomy. This can relieve the internal strabismus and upper limb muscle twitching, thus reducing the child’s muscle pain, and then the child will be able to fall asleep and will not have dull gaze.
