What happened to the necrotic testicle?

Testicular necrosis in patients may be caused by testicular trauma, testicular torsion, severe orchitis and so on.
1. Testicular trauma: when the patient’s testicle is hit by external force, especially open testicular trauma, it is easy to cause testicular rupture, which affects the blood supply to the testicle, thus leading to testicular necrosis. In addition, when the testicle is entangled by objects such as threads and so on, it may lead to obvious shortage or disappearance of blood supply to the testicle, which may lead to testicular necrosis in severe cases.
2. Testicular torsion: Testicular torsion refers to the twisting or torsion of the spermatic cord due to the dysplasia of the spermatic cord, testis and sheath. When the testis or spermatic cord is torsioned, it may lead to the obstruction, reduction or interruption of the blood supply, and the testis may suffer from acute ischemia, degeneration and necrosis, and then testicular atrophy and so on.
3. Severe orchitis: orchitis refers to the inflammatory disease of testis caused by bacterial or viral infection, mainly manifested as redness and swelling of the scrotum on the affected side, obvious pressure and pain in the testis. For patients with serious condition or untimely treatment, there may be complications such as abscess formation, testicular necrosis, testicular atrophy and so on.
It is recommended that patients seek timely medical examination to clarify the cause of the disease and then carry out targeted treatment, pay attention to monitoring the condition in life, and regular review.
