Rituximab, also known as melphalan, is the first monoclonal antibody product approved for the treatment of human tumors. Currently, the clinical application of rituximab in combination with chemotherapy is mainly used to treat patients with CD20-positive non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Common side effects after the application of rituximab include systemic side effects such as fever, chills, and malaise. Some patients experience skin side effects, clinically manifested as rash, and gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Some patients also experience respiratory side effects such as laryngeal spasm and dyspnea, and some experience hypotension after medication. These side effects generally range from mild to moderate, with most side effects occurring after the first treatment.
