For patients with frozen shoulder, we teach patients some self-exercise methods to do training at home while they are treated in the hospital. For climbing walls, pendulum exercises, towel gymnastics, stick exercises, etc. have long been known by the majority of medical staff as well as patients, but such a proven and convenient method for self loosening of the shoulder joint is often not well known. The methods described below can improve the range of motion of the patient’s shoulder joint. 1.Sliding toward the caudal end: The patient sits on the edge of the bed or stool, the fingers of the affected side grasp the edge of the bed or stool, and the body is tilted like the healthy side, which can make the humerus of the affected side slide toward the caudal end. 2.Sliding forward: The patient lies on his back, supported by bilateral elbow joints, with the body relaxed so that the weight of the body falls between the bilateral elbow joints, which can make the humerus slide forward. 3.Sliding backward: The patient lies prone, supported by both elbows, with the body relaxed, so that the body weight falls between the bilateral elbow joints, which can make the humerus slide backward.
