Malnutrition edema is clinically based on two main types of diseases: 1. Benign diseases, such as hepatic origin, such as post-hepatitis cirrhosis, edema caused by hypoproteinemia, which usually requires human albumin supplementation and diuretic therapy. There is also renal insufficiency, malnutrition caused by various chronic glomerulonephritis and nephrotic syndrome. It usually requires treatment for the primary disease, or mucinous edema caused by hypothyroidism, which usually requires supplemental thyroxine treatment.2. Malignant diseases, such as hypoproteinemia caused by gastric or intestinal cancer. It usually requires treatment of the primary disease, usually radical resection of gastric or intestinal cancer when surgery is possible, as well as supplementation of human albumin. If necessary, even adjuvant chemotherapy or even radiotherapy is required.
