What is wormwood used for?

Mugwort has the efficacy of warming menstruation and stopping bleeding (warming the human body’s meridians to stop bleeding in the body), dispersing cold and relieving pain (relieving pain by dispelling cold in the body), and can be used externally to dispel dampness and relieve itching, which can be used for leakage of menstruation (excessive menstruation or dribbling), excessive menstruation, cold pain in the lesser abdomen, cold uterus and infertility, and used externally for itching of the skin. Mugwort is pungent, bitter, warm and slightly poisonous, and belongs to the liver, spleen and kidney meridians. Mugwort can be used raw or fried charcoal, vinegar moxa charcoal warms menstruation and stops bleeding, used for cold bleeding.
