Early Symptoms of Fingernail Gray Nail

Fingernail gray nail is generally referred to as onychomycosis, which refers to nail disease caused by dermatophyte infection. Early symptoms include uneven nail surface, cloudy nail plate, thickened nails, etc., which need to be analyzed according to the symptoms.
1. Nail surface unevenness: after nail fungal infection, the nail plate or nail bed tissue will be destroyed, become uneven, or even rough. If there is this kind of performance in the early stage, we should be alert to the occurrence of gray nails.
2. cloudy nail plate: early gray nail will have the phenomenon of cloudy nail plate. When gray nail invades the nail plate or nail bed, a large number of mycelium and spores will multiply rapidly, leading to the slow accumulation of cuticle on the nail bed, so patients will see the nail become cloudy.
3. Nail thickening: when the nail is infected by fungus, the cuticle on the nail plate will keep increasing, thus piling up on the nail bed or nail plate, and the nail is 1~3 times thicker than the normal nail plate, or even more. Early gray nails will have the symptom of thickened nails.
