Lung cancer pleural metastasis may be stage I, II, III, IV, which needs to be determined in combination with lymphatic metastasis and distal organ metastasis.
Stage I: according to TNM staging criteria, lung cancer with pleural metastasis belongs to T2, and it is stage I if there is no lymph node or distal organ metastasis.
Stage II: when pleural metastasis of lung cancer occurs along with ipsilateral bronchial and hilar lymph node metastasis, but there is no distal lymph node or organ metastasis, then it belongs to stage II.
Stage III: If the patient not only has pleural metastasis, but also has ipsilateral mediastinal and rudimentary lymph node metastasis, then it belongs to stage III of lung cancer.
Stage IV: If there are pleural, lymph node and distal organ metastases at the same time, then it belongs to stage IV, which is the advanced stage of lung cancer.
